The Premiere Edition was the launch edition of the Alpine A110 and was limited to 1955 cars, and came with a plaque in the cabin along with a host of factory fitted optional features including forged wheels, telemetry, sports exhaust and Sabelt bucket seats.
Engine is a 249bhp 1.8-litre four cylinder from the RenaultSport Megane, but due to the lightweight philosophy of the car, being 96% aluminium, the car weighs just over 1 tonne. This means it can reach 60mph in 4.5 seconds and is extremely nibble and loves devouring corners and handles sweetly and rightly raved about by the media.
Since my ownership, I have had some minor modifications applied, all developed by the leading developer in the market, including springs, gear paddles and brake lines and pads.

About the Owner, Michael
I work in the electronics manufacturing industry and have spent most of my working career living in Asia. As such, it was impossible to enjoy my passion in cars, so when I came back to the UK 6 years ago, I went a bit mad and have had 13 cars! I have moved from chasing power figures to reduce power but great handling cars, hence my current car as I can enjoy the full ability of the car on our typical UK roads. Of all the cars I’ve owned this is in the top 2 cars as its that good. For my other interests, I am into technology, Lego and models, so a bit of a geek!
